The hotel British born Clare and her Greek husband Christos Martzos, own and run The Lost Unicorn. Both have extensive hotel experience and bring a unique Greek/British feel to this romantically named hotel located in the magnificent chestnut and walnut forests of Pelion.
The Lost Unicorn has eight bedrooms, all with balcony, TV, telephone and modern
en-suite facilities, shower & WC. Each room has its own individual décor,
using comfortable antique furnishings and most have double beds. The rooms are
centrally heated in the cooler winter months. There is a large, peaceful drawing
room with a fireplace and French windows opening onto the terrace, a library
and a dining room, all tastefully furnished with antiques collected over the
years
making this a truly unique hotel.
Outside, on the flower filled terrace you may take breakfast and dinner, or simply enjoy a cool drink under the trees. Specialities of the hotel include a Champagne Brunch which is served on the terrace at noon, whilst in the cooler weather, traditional English Afternoon Tea can be taken in the drawing room.
