Welcome to The Lost Unicorn Hotel and Restaurant, Tsagarada, Pelion
This beautiful neo-classical Greek mansion, built circa 1890 by a family of wealthy merchants from Alexandria, became the first hotel in the area in 1952. After extensive renovation in the 1990s, it reopened as The Lost Unicorn Hotel. Furnished throughout with antiques, there are eight bedrooms, all with balcony, TV, telephone and modern
en-suite facilities, shower & WC. The hotel has an elegant drawing room and dining room, a library and pretty terrace.
Overlooking
the picturesque square of Agia Paraskevi in Tsagarada, famed for its charming church and ancient plane tree, The Lost Unicorn Hotel's romantic setting provides an idyllic base from
which
to explore the beautiful Pelion countryside, villages, beaches and ski-slopes.
Tsagarada is one of the most attractive villages of the Pelion peninsula, combining majestic mountains with crystal clear seas. A ten-minute car journey takes you to the famous Milopotamos and Damouhari beaches where you can enjoy the lovely turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea. Meteora, Thessaloniki and the islands of Skiathos and Skopelos are all within reach by car or hydrofoil.
Visitors enjoy typical Mediterranean sunshine in the daytime, together with cooler nights than normally experienced in the height of a Greek summer. In winter months one can ski on the snow clad mountains and enjoy cosy log fires in the hotel. The Lost Unicorn is a delightful haven in which to unwind and offers a very warm welcome to visitors all year round.
